Divine Mercy Rosary
The Divine Mercy Rosary will be prayed every Tuesday at 3:00 p.m., during the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.
The 3:00 p.m. hour is known as the Hour of Mercy, the time when we remember Christ’s sacrifice on the Cross and place our trust in His infinite mercy.
Monthly Food Pantry Collection
Our monthly Food Pantry collection is taking place this weekend.
Last week, 268 bags were distributed to families in need in our community.
Thank you for your generosity and continued support of this important ministry.
Parish Pilgrimage Information Meeting
There will be an information and presentation meeting on Saturday, January 31, at 5:00 p.m. in the parish hall for all those interested in participating in the next parish pilgrimage to Turkey, Athens, and other locations.
All are welcome to attend.
College and Career Workshop
We will be continuing our College and Career Workshop in the parish hall with Francisco Garcia on Sunday, February 1 —
2:00 p.m. in Spanish and 3:00 p.m. in English.
This workshop will focus on planning for your future and preparing for college and beyond.

Parish Lift Update
The installation of our parish lift has experienced a slight delay. While there have been a few minor setbacks, all work is continuing and moving forward as planned.
We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we will share further updates as they become available.
Installation of the Archbishop of New York
The Archdiocese of New York joyfully announces the Installation of Archbishop-designate Ronald Hicks, a significant moment in the life of our local Church.
The Installation Mass will take place on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City.
The faithful are invited to keep Archbishop-designate Hicks in prayer as he begins his pastoral ministry, entrusting his leadership and service to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Second Anniversary of Father Madden’s Passing
Please save the date as we come together to commemorate the second anniversary of our beloved Father Thomas Madden.
A special bilingual Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 20, at 6:30 p.m., as we gather in prayer and remembrance, giving thanks for his life, priesthood, and the lasting impact he had on our parish.
All are warmly invited to be present and join us for this meaningful and special occasion.

Behold the Lamb of God
In today’s Gospel John the Baptist points to Jesus and proclaims, “Behold, the Lamb of God.” With these words, Christ is revealed not only as the Messiah, but as the One who takes away the sins of the world.
John reminds us that faith begins by recognizing who Jesus truly is and allowing Him to enter our lives.
As we continue into this new year, this Gospel invites us to look more closely at Christ and to deepen our trust in Him. Each day, we are called to bear witness through our words, our actions, and the way we live our faith in the world.
May this week be an opportunity to encounter Christ more fully, to follow Him with open hearts, and to live as witnesses to the love and mercy He offers to all.

Martin Luther King Day
In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the parish office will be closed on Monday, January 19.
Mass will be celebrated at 7:30 a.m. in English and 7:00 p.m. in Spanish.
The parish office will reopen on Tuesday, January 20.

Our Lady of Altagracia
Our parish will celebrate Our Lady of Altagracia on Sunday, January 25, during the 1:00 p.m. Mass, followed by a parish celebration in the school gym.
Our Lady of Altagracia is honored as a loving protector and intercessor within the Dominican community. The celebration will include food, music, and cultural traditions, as we come together in prayer, gratitude, and fellowship as one parish family.
All are welcome to attend.
Parish Lift Update
Our parish lift remains temporarily out of service as repairs and installation continue.
If weather permits, the lift will be fully operational by January 19.

Prayer for Our Youth Ministry
We thank God for the gift of our Youth Ministry as we return and continue the work He is doing among our young people and within our parish.
Our next Youth Ministry meeting will be held on Friday, January 23, at 7:00 p.m.
We ask our parish family to keep our youth and leaders in your prayers and to help spread the word.
All teens are welcome to join us as God continues to do great things in our parish.

Called and Claimed by God
This Sunday, the Church celebrates the Baptism of the Lord. In the Gospel, Jesus enters the waters of the Jordan and is revealed as the beloved Son of the Father. As the heavens open and the Spirit descends, we are reminded that baptism is not simply a moment in the past, but a living reality that shapes who we are.
As we continue into this new year, this Gospel invites us to remember our own baptism—when we were claimed by God, called His beloved, and sent forth to live our faith. Each day is an opportunity to renew that commitment, to walk in humility, and to allow God’s grace to guide our lives.
May this week be a time to listen more closely to God’s voice, trust in His love, and live as witnesses of the faith we have received.

Our parish celebration of Our Lady of Altagracia will take place on Sunday, January 25, during the 1:00 p.m. Mass, with a parish celebration to follow in the school gym.
Finance Council Meeting
The Finance Council will meet on Saturday, January 17, at 9:30 a.m.
As we begin the new year, this meeting will help set priorities and support the financial stewardship of our parish.

January 4th – 10th
Beginning the Year in God’s Light
As we begin this new year, the Church celebrates the Epiphany of the Lord, revealing Christ to the world through the journey of the Magi. In the Gospel, we see men who set out in faith, guided only by a star and a deep desire to encounter the newborn King. Their journey reminds us that God often leads us step by step, asking for trust even when the road ahead is uncertain.
This Gospel speaks powerfully at the start of a new year. Like the Magi, we begin this season not knowing all that lies ahead, but we are invited to keep moving forward, attentive to God’s guidance and open to where He may lead us. The Epiphany reminds us that Christ reveals Himself to those who seek Him sincerely.
As we step into this new year, may we follow the light of Christ with faith and perseverance. May our parish community be a place where His presence is recognized, His guidance is trusted, and His love is shared with all.

Three Kings Day – Toy Drive
Sunday, January 4, at the St. Peter School Gym at 2:00 p.m.
This celebration is made possible through the generosity of Latinas of Real Estate, who have donated all of the toys for the children. We invite our parish community to come together and share in the joy, faith, and spirit of giving that Three Kings Day represents.
Food will be provided.

A New Year in God’s Light
As we step into this new year, we are reminded that each day is a gift and an invitation from God to walk more closely with Him.
A new year is not simply a fresh start, but a renewed opportunity to deepen our faith, strengthen our community, and trust in God’s guiding presence. The Lord goes before us in all things—through moments of joy and challenge alike.
As we journey through the year ahead, may we remain open to His voice, faithful in prayer, and committed to living the Gospel in our homes, our parish, and our daily lives.
