Walking With Him
Like the disciples on the road to Emmaus, we sometimes walk through life feeling confused or uncertain. We carry questions, disappointments, and moments we don’t fully understand. In the middle of it all, it’s easy to miss that Jesus is already walking beside us.
He listens, He stays, and He gently reveals Himself along the way. Not always in big moments, but in the quiet and the ordinary.
He is present in the Word, in the Eucharist, and in one another. Even when we don’t recognize Him right away, He never leaves us.
This week, may we be more aware of His presence in our daily lives.

Food Pantry
This upcoming weekend was our monthly Food Pantry distribution, serving families in need within our community.
Next weekend, April 25 & 26th, will be our monthly food collection.

Confirmation Retreat
Next weekend will be the Confirmation Retreat for the candidates of our Religious Education program.
We ask that you keep them in your prayers, along with their sponsors, catechists, and families.
Confirmation is an important sacrament that strengthens their faith and fills them with the gifts of the Holy Spirit. It marks a meaningful step in their journey as disciples of Christ and their commitment to the Church.
Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
We will have Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament every Thursday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
All are invited to come spend time in prayer and adoration with the Lord.
Cardinal’s Annual Stewardship Appeal
Our parish is currently participating in the Cardinal’s Annual Stewardship Appeal, with a goal of $67,000.
This is an opportunity for all of us to come together in support of the wider Church and the many ministries that serve those in need. We invite you to prayerfully consider making a gift.

Our Youth Ministry is open to all students from 8th grade through high school.
No matter where you are in your faith journey, you are welcome here. This is a place to be yourself, build meaningful friendships, and grow closer to God.

Divine Mercy Sunday: Peace Be With You
The disciples were gathered in fear, behind locked doors; yet Jesus came to them and said,
“Peace be with you.”
He did not come with judgment, but with mercy meeting them in their fear, their doubt, and their uncertainty. Thomas reminds us that it’s okay to wrestle with faith. And in His mercy, Jesus meets us there too; with patience, love, and understanding.
On this Divine Mercy Sunday, we are reminded that no matter where we are, His mercy is always available to us.
Jesus, I trust in You.

Divine Mercy Sunday
Divine Mercy is God’s love meeting us in our worst moments—and not turning away.
It’s His forgiveness, compassion, and patience, even when we’ve messed up or drifted. Instead of giving us what we deserve, He gives us another chance.
In honor of Divine Mercy Sunday, join us for the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament from 3:00–4:00 PM during the Hour of Mercy.
Pre-Baptismal Class & Baptisms
For families preparing for Baptism on Saturday, April 18, the pre-baptismal class for parents and godparents will take place on
Tuesday, April 14 at 7:00 PM in the church basement.
Please make sure the registration forms and documents are completed for both parents and godparents.
Baptisms scheduled for Saturday, April 18 will be held at 12:00 noon (for this month only).

He Is Risen: The Heart of Our Faith
On this Easter Sunday, we celebrate the heart of our faith: Jesus Christ is risen.
As we hear, Peter proclaims that Jesus went about doing good, bringing healing and peace. Though He was put to death, God raised Him on the third day, and He appeared to those chosen to be His witnesses.
The Resurrection reminds us that even in our darkest moments, God is at work—bringing life where there was death, hope where there was doubt, and light where there was darkness.
May this Easter renew our faith, strengthen our hope, and lead us to live as true witnesses of Christ.
Christ is risen! He is truly risen!

This Thursday, April 9, Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will now take place on Thursdays.
Exposition will begin after the 7:30 a.m. Mass, with Benediction at 6:45 p.m.
This week will be our first Thursday following this new schedule.

Scouting News
Exciting news—our parish Cub Scout program (Grades K–5) is back!
Meetings begin on Tuesday, April 14 at 6:30 PM in the parish school.
Join us for our Spring Open House & Recruitment Day next Sunday, April 12.
Representatives will be available after every Mass, and you can visit the parish hall from 2:00–3:00 PM for more information and light refreshments.
We know families are busy, so our program offers flexibility with attendance.
Our Scout Troop has proudly served our parish for over 81 years. Thank you for your support of the recent parking lot renovation, an Eagle Scout project led by parishioner Alex Carpenter.

Easter Sunday – The Resurrection of the Lord
On this Easter Sunday, we rejoice in the Resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Through His victory over death, we are given the promise of new life and eternal hope.
The empty tomb reminds us that God’s love is stronger than sin and death, and that no darkness can overcome His light. May the joy of the Resurrection fill our hearts, renew our faith, and strengthen us to live as witnesses of Christ each day!
